Elisa Luciano

Elisa LucianoElisa Luciano is Full Professor of Quantitative Finance at the University of Torino (Italy), Research Fellow of ICER (International Center for Economic Research), Torino-Prague, Fellow of CCA (Collegio Carlo Alberto), Torino, Associate Fellow of FERC (Financial Econometrics Research Center), Warwick University. She holds a BA in Economics and a PhD in Applied Mathematics.

Deputy Director of the Statistics and Applied Mathematics Department of the University of Torino, she is the Director of both the Postgraduate Master in Finance and the Master in Insurance and Risk Management of the University of Torino/CCA. She sits in the Scientific Committees of both the Economics and the IEL (Institutions, Law and Economics, joint with Cornell University, Gent University, École Politechnique, Paris, Prague University) Doctoral Schools.She has published extensively in Academic journals, including the Journal of Finance, Insurance, Mathematics and Economics, the Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance Theory, the Scandinavian Actuarial Journal.

She has published also in Risk, the Risk books and the Journal of Risk Finance, from which she received the 'best paper award' in 2009. She has written books for J. Wiley and E.Elgar. She sits on the Editorial board of the Journal of Risk and acts as a referee for a number of international journals.
