Anthony Webb
Anthony Webb, Ph.D., is a research economist at the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College. He earned his doctorate in economics from the University of California, San Diego in 2001. He holds a B.A. in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham (1975) and an M.A. in economics from the University of Manchester (1994).
Dr. Webb's research interests include the impact of pension type on the age of retirement, the financing of long-term care, the management of the process of asset decumulation, and the impact of bargaining within the household on asset allocation and asset decumulation. His published work includes an investigation of the impact of pension type on the age of retirement and a number of studies of the role of annuities in managing retirement asset decumulation.
