Katja Hanewald

Katja Hanewald is a PhD candidate at the Chair for Risk Management and Insurance at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany. She received her Diplom (M.Sc.) degree in economics with a focus on econometrics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 2007. During her studies, she was awarded a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation. Her research focuses on aggregate mortality risk and the asset liability management of life insurance companies.
