John Iacovino joined Fasano Associates as Medical Director and Senior Consultant in March 2005. He previously served as Vice President and Chief Medical Director of New York Life Insurance Company from 1998 to 2004. From 1986 to 1988, Dr. Iacovino served as the Medical Director of General Reassurance Corporation. He started his career in private practice at Respiratory Associates in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Dr Iacovino is a certified member of the board of Insurance Medicine, Board of Pulmonary Diseases, the National Board of Examiners, and Board of Internal Medicine. He received his doctor of medicine degree in 1967 from the School of Medicine at Tufts University, after receiving his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College.
Dr. Iacovino is a member of the American medical Association, American Academy of Insurance Medicine (where he served as President from 1996 to 1997), American College of Physicians and American College of Chest Physicians.
Dr. Iacovino has also written numerous articles that have been published in the Journal of Insurance Medicine and other medical journals.
