Frederik Weber holds an undergraduate Diplom degree in Mathematics & Management from Ulm University (Germany), a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Illinois State University (USA), and a postgraduate Master’s degree in Business Research from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (Germany), where he also received his Ph.D. in July 2009.
Frederik’s current research interests lie in the areas of Longevity Risk and Select Cohorts (Modelling Approaches, Assessment, Economic Implications, and Product Design Solutions), and he is working as a doctoral research assistant at the Institute for Risk and Insurance Management at LMU Munich.
